There are so many activities on Maui that you will not have time to do everything. Planning which Maui activities you want to do while there is important. Also knowing the location that you are staying on Maui is important prior to booking any activities. Some activities on Maui are seasonal like whale watching ( mid December - Mid April). While we were on vacation it was whale watching season and was one of the things we did. If you are going to be there during the whale watching season, I would highly recommend taking a whale watching cruise. Most companies that offer whale watching tours guarantee that you will see a whale or you get another cruise free. Be sure to look for this type of guarantee when booking. The great thing about Maui is not all activities cost money. There are many free activities on Maui, you can purchase a Maui guide book that shows all the public hiking trails. If you decide to go hiking even during the winter months be sure to bring water to drink as you will get hot.
